To our Loyal Bagel Lovers,
We are sad to announce the end of operations of Truckee Bagel Company in Midtown effective July 12, 2025.
As we reflect on our time in Midtown, we are grateful to our incredible customers who showed up for us, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. Since opening in 2015, the TBC Midtown location sold over 100,000 bagels, was voted Reno’s Best Bagel 7 years in a row, and provided living wage jobs to scores of workers, representing the full spectrum of Reno’s population.
Our Midtown team has persisted through the re-design and construction of South Virginia St., the COVID-19 pandemic, economic uncertainty, and the great Labor Resignation of 2021. All of this while supporting countless catering events at business meetings and family celebrations in downtown Reno and as far away as Portola. We are proud to have made many charitable donations to organizations like the Reno Rodeo Association, Truckee Meadows Parks Foundation, Washoe County Schools, and many others.
But rest assured, Truckee Bagel is not leaving Reno. We are thrilled to celebrate 25 years in our Galena location in 2025, and we plan to be there for another 25 years. We hope you’ll come to see us there, right off Mt. Rose highway, in the Raley’s shopping center for more of Reno’s Best Bagels.
In the meantime, we send grateful thanks to all our customers, and wish every happiness and success to all the fabulous local business in downtown and Midtown Reno.
